Berlin is a city in constant evolution and, especially today, is in the implementation phase following a process of change initiated by the union of East Berlin with West Berlin.
The Brandenburg Gate is the symbol of the city, as well as the Parliament and the Duomo, but the real pride of the Berliners are over 170 museums that attract millions of visitors. The atmosphere that you live in the Potsdamer Platz, as well as in the huge and beautiful gardens and Unter den Linden and Friedrichstrasse, the shopping streets and major boutiques, is crisp and exciting.
Berlin is a city that never sleeps. There are restaurants and clubs open 24 hours 24: you can have dinner after 23, the night and the clubs are filled not before midnight, some pubs and cafes never close. Even some of the museums stay open until Thursday 22.
The premises of West Berlin are very classic, while those of East Berlin are much more alternative and original. In most local live music almost every night: from rock to blues, from jazz to soul, from folk music to disco music. In East Berlin the local open and disappear without notice, are often without large signs: just knocking to enter.
